Dear Parents/Caregivers,

On Tuesday, June 6th, our 8th Grade students will take their 8th grade trip to Nansen Lodge. We expect the memory of this day to be one student's treasure for years to come. Please note that participation in all upcoming 8th grade activities is contingent upon behavior and overall academic standing. Factors that influence a child’s overall standing include lateness, class performance, behavior, effort, attitude, and grades. A conduct grade of N, for any reason, is grounds for exclusion in such events.

The cost of the trip is $40. This price includes a DJ, lunch, ice cream, donuts and activities. Payment and permission authorization for this trip can be found via our website at www.is27.org under the School Store/Online Payments tab. Cash will not be accepted. The deadline to register is Friday, May 26th, 2023. There will be no exceptions made for payment or registering past this date. Please be advised that students will be not permitted to attend the senior trip if his or her senior dues are not paid.

To ensure that the trip is both enjoyable and safe for all students, several points must be emphasized. Please review these points with your child (and save this notice for future reference):

Buses will leave Prall at approximately 9:45 A.M. Buses will depart Nansen Lodge at 1:00. Students will be at regular dismissal at the end of the day, 2:00 P.M.
Students are to wear the Prall 2023 T-Shirt for safety and identification purposes.
Students may bring games, blankets (for sitting on the field), if they would like, but not required.
Students opting not to attend and/or students excluded from participation are expected to attend school on the day of the trip and will be given an alternative program.
